Looking for a few experienced rebuilders to tell me if this is normal.
(No response over at the 9000 board)
I just rebuilt my Aero Turbo and got to the point where you torque the nut on. I can spin everything very freely until I tighten the nut down. My definition of free is to give it a twist and it spins on it's own for at least one revolution.
Once I tighten past finger tight the shaft will turn, but I have to put some effort into it. This doesn't seem normal to me. I haven't ever spun a "new" turbo, so is this because everything is tighter with the new bushings and seals? Please chime in with any rebuild experience.
Thanks,
Everett
