Piper used to do a "fast road" cam, and I had a Weber 28/36 DCD on an alloy manifold you used to be able to buy. The problem was silencing the intake because there was very little room for an air cleaner, in the end I made one that sat a paper filter round the carb like a ring rather than on top of it. Presumably not a problem in your case! I also fitted a Jetex exhaust (which got rid of the transverse box), electronic ignition by Lumenition, the crank was Tuftrided and and the heads were re-worked by Brian Slark near Salisbury.

On my car (Jubilee 1976) we added negative camber at the front (special shims for the upper mountings) and fitted Spax adjustable dampers. There were also Minilite-style wheels to be had (though not by me). Was a good while back but will see what's available here in the UK or elsewhere in Europe.
