I've just changed to Abbott springs on my 9000. Too early to do a final judgement, but so far they are much better. Both with regards to handling and comfort.
The H&R springs are too soft in the first part of the suspension travel and then too hard. I think progressive springs are great in theory but not so good in reality (at least in this case).
