ATE Super Blue is a great upgrade. Never have any pedal feel problems since replacing. If you are doing some heavy track time I have heard it is best to replace right before the track, but if it is more recreational than you will probably be fine to replace 6 months to a year. Just my opinion. No personal experience with the Viggen rotors, but others have said they can warp pretty easily. I have flat faced brembo rotors with Ferodo DS2500 pads on my Stage 4 9000. Great combination. Haven't found anything else that can stop like those. For the 9000 the Ferodo pads had to be slightly modified to fit in the caliper, but easily done. Just a little grinding. I have tried cross-drilled, and slotted in the past, but all you are doing is reducing the surface area. Unless you have a full on race car, you most likely won't notice anything. Good luck, and have fun racing that Saab around.
