The 4 speed autobox is supposed to be less tolerent of extra power than your 5 speed autobox.
Two tricks I have learnt to keep the tranny alive -
1: be very smooth with power on/off no slams - torque spikes kill tranny not absolute power. IE no burnouts, wheel spins on bumpy roads etc
2: Keep your tranny fluid very clean and topped off correctly.
My 4 speed autobox had 330 lb/ft for 4 years without any problems.
I went against advice and went with Synethic tranny fluid. Theory goes it is tool slippery for the clutch and can cause tranny slip - I didn't have any problems.
