On installing new rear brake lines, Viggen Posted by bender [Email] (#268) [Profile/Gallery] (more from bender) on Sun, 9 May 2010 15:33:40 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I am doing the rear brake upgrade. When installing the brake lines, is there anything in specific I should be doing? Is it worthwhile to put some teflon tape on the threads? Also, how tight do I tighten it (just by feel and common sense)?
Going to be interesting when I remove the old one while brake fluid is in there...I'll use someone's advice here from before on using a piece of wood to lightly press on the brake pedal to mitigate the leaking effect.
Thanks in advance, Bender
