i have the 1994 900SE with the GM 2.5 v-6
i noticed that if i run the saab with a half tank of gas is starts every time no problem. then when it gets close to empty it happens again, so i keep it between the 1/4th mark and the 1/2 mark so i wont have this starting problem. (my dad says its the float in the fuel tank??)
in the morning before work is have my brother hold the stem of the check valve on the fuel rail to see if it was the fuel pump as i cranked the car, and it took a couple of cranks before the fuel got its way to the injectors.
My brother told me i need a fuel regulator causing the rail to loose the fuel it has by going back to the tank?
so its like a really dry start.
and when he is not around i would use quick start (ether spray) and spray a little in the intake to prime it, then it starts the second time around.
its getting annoying when u have to do that.
but when you don't have money but love your car what can you do?
if anyone could help it would be great because i don't have very much money and like to work on cars so hopefully some one knows about this problem
thank you for your time and reading this post!
