Landjet,
Thank you for your recent contact!
The SD2217 S4 is certainly our current 2010 Stage 4 APC Red Series upgrade and these will also usually have 2 sets of initials for both bench and road test of the control unit prior to delivery. If the APC is a true SWEDISH DYNAMICS upgrade it would always have our serial number on the internal green pcb and, if it does not have these markings, it should be suspected as coming from another source. If there is an APC in question, You could send it to our CT address for a free assessment. We would test, confirm that the control unit is SDI (or not), and return to sender.
We have been offering our APC upgrades for nearly 15 years so We do understand that the control units are not always in the original customer's ownership.
Thanks again and please do n ot hesitate to contact us with any questions.
Sincerely,
Gary S. Konow at SWEDISH DYNAMICS,INC
