Keeping the heat away from the inlet pipe is always a good thing. Also coating the first part of the downpipe up to the catlayst is a good idea. http://genuinesaab.com/gallery/albums/JohnAvig/IMG_7764.sized.jpg
I have found there are different grades of coating. Some flakes off after some pulls on the dyno. The good stuff stays (until you ding it) Cannot find a good pic of that.
Also if you put an EGT bung in for steady state tuning on the dyno make sure it sees both pairs of cylinders evenly. http://genuinesaab.com/gallery/albums/DSvigTurbo/IMG_0820.sized.jpg
Same port can be used for EMAP to log turbine in let pressure.
