I was always under the impression that it was, since that was ECU's only way of compensating for altitude since there are no pressure sensors in LH-, plus people would use those 'voltage clamps' or resistors in the signal wire to muck with the signal to adjust mixture. Gotta find my Jetronic book some time and see, although if you're road (or dyno) tuning it would be very easy to make some changes to the fuel map and see if they're actually reflected on a wide-band.
The big pain of course is then you gotta stop what you're doing and mess with the ignition timing, then dive back into tuning fuel.
I've never actually seen a duty-cycle / pulse time plot of a Jetronic car, I wish I was motivated enough to hook a scope up to one of my injector leads and go for a drive, but I plan to ditch the whole thing and put T5 in it eventually anyway - I've got all my stock Jetronic parts back in mine so I don't get the abysmal gas mileage I was getting with all the doo-dads I had thrown on it over the past 8 years.
