Well its pretty straightforward except that some thought could be put into the filters final height for drainage during oil changes. Perhaps you could pull a hose at the original filter location if the filter is relocated too high. However I would take this as an opportunity to find a big filter to use. Fram is the only company I know of that lists cross reference charts so you can get the right relief pressure and stuff (just don't buy their filters). Also I would use the opportunity to mount the filter vertically so you can fill the filter completely when changing the oil.
