Technically ALL the ECU's being LH 2.2, LH 2.4, N/A or Turbo COMPUTE a load signal. In the SAAB turbo LH2.2 ECU, the legs of the chip which sends the signal out are simply not connected to the pin-out on the ECU. This kind of sucks, but oh well.
after some testing with my oscilloscope, the 'load/Tq' signal is simply the injector open time. So this signal will vary in frequency as rpm changes, and duty cycle as engine load is increased. it is 12 volts p-p. This is confirmed, as during certain overrun conditions the load signal shuts down completely, as does the actual injectors.
