I've made a couple of these, but only cat-back because I already had the JSP 3" downpipes. Keep in mind that even if the car doesn't last that long, a stainless exhaust is a valuable item that could be sold. A non-stainless one would not be. I found the best deal on stainless tubing to be a place that sells sanitary tubing (e.g. tubing used for food systems). You can get straight tubes, and pretty tight radius 90deg or 45deg bends. If I recall correctly, I managed a whole cat-back system with just three 90deg bends, two of which occurred right at the tail pipe, and one I cut in half to make two 45s. They will also have superb quality flange connections, which is nice. Do NOT use the commonly sold u-clamps or even worse, band clamps. The latter will leak, and the former will either leak, or if you tighten them enough to make them not leak will never come off again. I didn't find the oem exhaust very helpful when it came to measuring up the new system, I just measured and test fitted directly on the car. I personally wouldn't recommend skipping the center muffler, as the system will be plenty loud even with it, and the cost difference is not huge.
