I have been quietly accumulating parts for my 04 Aero Sdn, Eibach springs Bilstien sports, SAS sway bars, Powerflex Poly Bushings, Moog sway bar links, tie rod ends, ball joints and strut mounts, Saab cross stays, rosebush tool etc.
Since this is my daily driver and It had to be a weekend project. My expectation was to get it all installed during the 3 day memorial holiday, yeah right.
Completed the rear only, stripped rosebush, had to buy grade 8 bolds and nuts to finish, had to take both trailing arms completely off to dislodge stubborn cross stays. Used a torch and put new bushings in the freezer prior to installation. SAS sway bar is a tight fit and the bolts attaching it to the sway bar links need to be installed the opposite direction as shown in the instructions.
That being said the rear end feels awesome!!
Is the front easier or harder (including subframe bushings), just trying to manage my expectation, Is it realistic to do this on a weekend?
