Car ran fine last night. Extremely cold here....High -23C in the daytime but if you factor in windchill it feels like -35C. It's "colder than a well digger's ass"! :-) We plug our cars in here so the engines usually start no problem. This morning I turned the key and got a click but no start....same thing after several tries. I suspected the battery. I installed a fully charged one and same thing. I wiggled the key a bit and and after several tries she fired up so I suspect the ignition switch. I had issues with a worn switch last year. I was running with the toggle switch repair for awhile ,then I replaced the switch with a used one in the Fall and haven't had any problems up until now. I suspect the cold weather is affecting the wiring or the switch itself?Once the car is warmed up restating doesn't seem to be an issue but driving anywhere is risky as you don't know if it will start or not. might have to go back to the toggle switch unless I can get a new switch. Are they still available
