Transaction price, not asking price Posted by MI-Roger [Email] (#882) [Profile/Gallery] (more from MI-Roger) on Fri, 7 Mar 2014 03:12:15 In Reply to: Selling Viggen, Chris, Tue, 4 Mar 2014 15:14:22 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
Send me a Private Message and I can give you both numbers for my Viggen which I purchased in late August. Same year, same color, similar miles and probably similar condition. Mine is a convertible.
Time of the year can be a big factor depending on where you live. Here in the North the best time to sell is Memorial Day when buyers are looking forward to summertime fun (and may have tax refund money in their wallets). Best to to buy is Super Bowl when bills are due, the car has been parked for 3 months with another 3 months before it can be driven again, and the owner (or spouse) is tired of parking in the snow so the summer car can be parked in the covered spot. The second best time to buy is end of season when I got mine.
