Torque steer is common to front wheel drive cars under power. Symptoms are pulling to one side or alternately pulling to both sides. If it always pulls to one side, you are probably driving a car with unequal length axle shafts(early Taurus??)..not a Saab. With Saabs, torque steer is the result of slight differences in wheel grip being magnified under power.

Understeer/Oversteer is easily explained under slick conditions. If you try to turn and your car tries to go straight, you have understeer, i.e. not enough steering. If you turn and the rear end whips around you have oversteer i.e. too much steering.

As noted, Saabs will normally understeer, but you can get them to oversteer with a condition sometimes called "throttle lift oversteer." If you are going into a corner too hot and suddenly lift off the gas, even a Saab will oversteer...sometimes quite dramatically. Older Porsches and BMW's were famous for this. Classic with 911turbos in the hands of almost anyone. They get going like hell and the driver panics in corner and lifts throttle, resulting in backing into a tree.
