But it was supposed to be some big surprise that they were actually going to use it (Like when Vin / Dominic lifts up his seat to reveal the NOS tanks and switches)
Though the acting was HORRIBLE, the movie gave me chills, with all of the speed and adrenalin. The guy sitting next to me was literally on the edge of his seat the whole time. I loved it, and I will go see it again. My main disappointment was the lack of rice in the parking lot before the flic. I did see on tricked out Accord wagon that gave me a chuckle.
The cars in the movie had some serious mods, and yes, it was very accurate. If there is anything I cannot stand is when car movies fail to be accurate. I must add that the lack of tricked out Saabs was also a disappointment. :( Go see this movie if you love speed, and go into it expecting it to have bad acting!
