high RPM misfire

Weird. I swapped my 24# injectors back in (ran the 30#s for like 2 days, if that) for a road trip this weekend. I noticed last night that at WOT at maybe 4500-5000 RPM and about 15+ psi of boost, I have a noticeable semi-misfire. That's the best way to describe it. Not like the rev limiter cutting in, more like the mixture is off - but I haven't touched the AMM or anything, and indeed the car was on the engine scope a while back to dial in the settings, with the 24#s. There's a slight backfire, and the car bucks just a bit.
The one thing that I DID do was redo the injector wiring. I bought brand new connectors and contact housings and spent a couple of hours cutting away old dead wire and replacing with new. I used 18 gauge wire, as this seemed to be the right size.
Any thoughts? Below the above indicated numbers, everything is cool, per normal.
