better start waiting for response from those who know what they are doing b4 you leap. Go find bens thread for more info. The quickest route to a new transmission on an AT is to ask for more power. unless you are ready and willing to fork out for the new trans or convert to manual you are going to be in for an expensive suprise in no time at all. so don't waste your money...you'll need it for a new AT. as far as the APC if you must blow your trans then just go to kevin k's tweaking site. additionally the extra 400 is a total crock. all you would really need is new injectors at about 130 from summit racing. if you want real power you got to head work and hybrid turbos etc.... and 400 is passed up in no time at all, more like 1400+.
I too have a 92 cvt that came with a stage 2 and big injectors. the first thing i did was take them off. you will lucky to get another 10k out your trans if you abuse it since they are already beyond the edge of their capability just by being on the turbo motor. if you want to get more power you will have to go to a manual trans to get any sort of reliability at all and even then it is a crapshoot. i only got 25k out of my rebuild before i tore out the pass side diff bearings.
