Somebody sent me this information in my e-mail and they said it works. It can't hurt to try. I think it only works with moving violations like speeding and stop signs, etc. Don't hold me to it.
Say you have alot of points on your liscense and one more ticket and you're facing suspension.
Then the day comes when you get the ticket that will put you over the top. When you go to court and get your punishment and fine, don't pay the fine that day(if possible) and don't pay cash.
Say the fine can be mailed in and it's for $78. Make a check out for say $80 and mail it in. Of course you overpayed and a refund check for $2 will be sent back to you. DON'T CASH THE CHECK. From what I understand, this will leave the account still open, and the final processing of paperwork cannot be completed until the check is cashed and returned by the bank.
It might be worth a try by someone out there. Let us know if you do it and it works.
