Back before the oil crunch hit in the early 70's, Saab was going to produce cars with an 8 cylinder Triumph Stag engines. Where to get one now is the question. I imagine only a few were produced as this was still in the experimental stage. The engines had the same bolt pattern for a direct tranny bolt-up.

The car I saw in 1990 had one. Torque steer was a major factor with his set-up as you could imagine, and of course the trans was still the weakest link. The exhaust was custom fabricated and somewhat crude, but whatever works.

Oh to have an 8 cylinder Saab that shits and gits like no other Saab on the planet, but control of the car was still an issue.
