So you've just set the MBC somewhat below ECU's max boost and put it in front of the BPC? Sounds like a good idea -- quick spoolup but essentially full Trionic knock protection and no chance of overboost. If this is your setup, I'd expect sustained boost to be unchanged from stock.
If you've set the MBC right at fuel cut as usual, then the BPC wouldn't be doing anything and max sustained boost would hold at fuel cut with the usual falloff at high revs.
