Tuning up an SPG for some mods

I have a 1990 SPG and I'd like to drop in a tweaked APC box, bigger FPR and bigger fuel injectors. Right now I have magnecore wires and some new NGK BCP6EVs (I think, they're the hi-performance plugs), a K&N airfilter and some silicon hoses for the vacuum stuff. Repairs I'm planning to get done before I do these upgrades are a new pulley seal, new belts and a new valve cover gasket. Is there anything else I should be concerned with? Most of the rest of the engine is in pretty good shape; no coolant leaks ('cept for a little bit of stuff out of the valve cover), no oil leaks except for that one at the pulley, year-old rebuilt alternator, year-old distributor cap and rotor, a solid clutch (least it can't crank the engine in fourth gear) and the turbo's still in pretty good shape. The suspension needs work but I figured I could avoid that for the time being. Anything on the tranny that needs concern? Anything else that I should check out and fix before I do these mods? Anything I should get along with the mods?
Thanks in advance.
