Thanks for your comments but perhaps I over-exagerrated the bottom-out issue a little bit. In fact, it's a non-issue for me. It only happened once at insane speed coming out of a small bridge that dipped dramatically. I guess in that situation with stock springs the suspension still would have bottomed out anyway. Under normal driving circumstances, there's no premature bottom out with H&R springs on any road whatsoever! Also I don't know about Abbott springs but H&R are not much more bouncy than stock springs at high speed.

I didn't mention in my original post that the reason I wanted to replace stock springs was that the ride was too harsh with stock springs as my car has low profile tires and Bilsteins. I specifically looked for progressive springs because I wanted to have comfort ride at low speed. I did lot of research on springs and H&R receives lot of excellent feedbacks from many enthusiast car drivers. In fact the Bilsteins/H&R combo is recommended by many tuners and very common among BMW and Audi owners. If you say Bilsteins/H&R combo (or Abbott and other springs for that matter) is not good I don't know what choice we have for a Saab. Perhaps we should all just wait for the combo that you're developing then? Of course everything is a trade-off but in this case H&R springs are clearly a winner to me. The results are everything I have expected and I'm very happy I did it.
