Briefly, here's what I've worked out. Please let me know if I'm making a mistake. This pertains to a '94 9000 Aero with Bilsteins and B+G springs, so it is slightly lower than stock.
1. 17x7 ET40 wheels (already purchased)
2. 225/45WR17 tires (already purchased)
3. Here's the main question... Obviously I need spacers. I was going to get the god-awfully expensive H&R 15mm hub-centric spacers, which are $100 pair but seem to be the safest/smartest way to go. This would give me a net offset F&R of 25. Should I do 15mm spacers F&R, or should I use different sizes altogether?
I know Abbott recommends 30 or 32 offset for 7" wheels, but when I plug the numbers in to the wheel/offset calculator they don't look pretty for clearing the suspension components. Did I scr*w myself by getting the 225 tires?
Thanks in advance
Will
