Dawes Devices - Boost Controller (c900 SPG)

Hey...
I was searching the BB and came across http://www.dawesdevices.com. I see that a few people have been using the "super duty boost controller". I have a 90 SPG with some other basic mods. APC tweaked to red box, forge bypass valve, and modified BPC solenoid (WASSAAB's method).
If I install the "boost controller" in line with my wastegate actuator, will I see a quicker spool up?
I like the idea of this "manual boost control valve" used in conjunction with my APC. I'm not into removing the APC to install a complete MBC.
It says that it can handle up to 17psi. I'm currently running 21psi PEAK. I've only hit 21psi once, so don't get scared ( : Usually around 18-20psi when I'm really gunning it. 16-19psi daily.
Whats your opinion on this device. Only $35. Not sure if it's worth ordering. I just can't tell if it is valuable for my setup from their website. Any experience with this device?
Thanks (again!)
Taylor
