I have a 92 900s, which i am thinking about redoing the supsension on.
Lots of rattle (which i take to be bad bushings) and sway in cornering.
Im not particulalry looking for lowering of car, i want to keep the practicality of the ride height i have and not replace skid plate. what i do want is to make the handling as good as possible on the old beast. If that means lowering, then im open to the idea, but im not concerned about aesthetics as much.
i read through some 300 topics to look for spring/shock posts and what i came up with was this:
springs - eibach, gmax, intrax, b&g, abbot. the eibach and intrax were mentioned as lowering ... are any of them not super low?
shocks - koni, boge, sachs, bilstein. I dont have too much experience with this sorta thing, but what i am afraid of is the really harsh rides that i hear about from some postings. Can you get good handling without having super stiff ride?
are poly bushes worth the cash and time it'll take to replace them?
thanks,
dave from nj
