integral wg turbos dump wg flow sideways into turbine main exit, before the normal round 3 bolt exit flange. this results in top end hp loss, as high as 20-40 when boost is crankd up (dyno verified).
the mitsu is ideal for improvement, deleting the cover and isolating flows and blending down the dp a few inches. T3 has wg shaft in cover ... so cover must stay, unless shaft relocated in dp, or ext wg used.
a big oversized dp, or a big elbo, does help with the wg flow conflict issue, just not as well as other methods noted. Easy to do the MRT fix on the mitsu's ... TE05 and TD04, not sure on T25's.
