I definitely agree about the HP readings from G-tech. useless!
That is very interesting about the trap speeds being consistently off, while the times seem to be close to each other. Maybe they're using a g-tech at the track! lol! Just kidding....
I still prefer timing to be done with something outside of my control, and outside of my car. If you're running 14.6s at the track, well then I'd just be happy with that! Any videos/time slips? What strip do you go to? To me, anything besides a certified (read: standardized) NHRA drag strip is open to question (downhill/uphill). More likely than not, the track should be faster than what you can do on the street due to the rubber compounds they law down in the launch area. I go to 75/80 Drag-a-way in Monrovia, MD (typically considered a slow track, as it is in the foothills of the App. Mountains in Northern Maryland, and seems to be uphill! NHRA certified, nonetheless: http://www.7580dragway.com) and once I ran at Maryland International Raceway in Southern Maryland, which is a track that hosts national/international drag racing events: http://www.mirdrag.com/. I believe Papadakis set his FWD record there, IIRC. It's not at sea level, but it's down there. I was there in October, and it was 40 degrees, which made launching a little difficult.
Have fun, keep racin', post time slips! :o)
