if i may...i am running 16" super aeros on my 90 900. i have jamex lowering springs and i cut the rears to level it out. i have 205/45's kumho ecsta supra 712's. i have had no problem with rubbing, nor does it leave a large air gap between the tire and wheel well. fwiw, the smaller the air gap, the more likely it will rub. i also use bilstein shocks which helps a bit. the ride is sporty, but not harsh. i have 'hit' numerous road obstacles (bumps, holes, ridges, etc.) and the worst thing i have done to the wheels is some curb rash from parking. the wheels are stout and will take a beating. i have not ever heard of someone bending an aero or super aero (not like the viggen wheels).

my say would be to get the 205/45's and skip the rear bags until you are doing some hauling. or, you could keep your older wheels and use those when you haul stuff (easy enough to swap out). the 45's give a sporty ride, shorter sidewalls work great in corners and the lower profile looks sporty as well. i don't recall the website, but aaron gilbert has a picture of mine (for air gap purposes) on the saab club of seattle website. but this is just my opinion....
