a few weeks ago the original turbo on my 95 900SET began to scream like a siren and wouldn't respond as fast as usual or boost as high as it should.

after checking all hosing, clamps, and valves it was decided the turbo was shot....so I ordered the Abbott TD-04 conversion kit

yeah yeah i know i paid a way too much

The turbo came with a new exhaust manifold that had been ported and polished to fit the larger inlet size of the turbo....very nice....The air inlet pipe made of red silicon hose is also larger at the inlet to the turbo

Abbott claims 20% more air above 4000 rpm??

I haven't been running max boost yet however the turbo has really changed the dynamics of the engine and how i drive it. I am planning to increase the boost from 12 psi to 17 psi this weekend

previously

It was a high torque story at 3000-4500 rpm.

now the engine just loves to rev from 4000-5500 rpm ...much more a BHP story.

Initial imprressions very favorable
