Hey,

Well, my A/C hasn't worked since I bought my SPG, and instead of replacing it/fixing it, I'm thinking about completely removing it. I'm not ready to rip it all out right now (as my car is at the body shop getting a whaletail fitted), but for a (slight!) temporary power increase, I'm going to take off the A/C belt on my 1990 SPG. A friend of mine in CPSC with an 86 SPG took his off and said he could feel a negligable difference, and another 90 900T owner told me he took his off and felt the same thing. "A few horsepower increase". Not like replacing a turbo, but... oh well. I will definatly take out the whole system soon enough, really take out some useless weight. For now... the belt will go.

Anyone see a problem with this? (other than the A/C not working!) Maybe I'm missing something, it just seems a little too easy. I figured I'd ask, and be safe rather than sorry.
