Hey everyone!

I've talked to 3 other 1990 SPG owners who have swapped T3 turbos into their cars, removing the faster-spooling, but less powerful, Mitsubishi TE-05 turbo. They all have had great results with the swap, and didn't notice too much extra turbo lag commonly associated with the T3. I'm not too worried about turbo lag with my current modifications. I'm looking for some more top end boost, because I'm boosting 22+psi max currently, and the Mitsubishi TE-05 is tested to be good up until 18psi. I don't have $500+ for a new/rebuilt turbo. I will eventually get a T3/T4, but not right now.

What year 900T can I remove a T3 turbo from? I know in the late 80's, they added the oil cooiling, which I have, and will need an oil/water cooled T3 turbo to swap into my 90 SPG.

Any install procedures?

Any thoughts/concerns? What should I expect?

Looking forward to SOC tomorrow! Leaving at 7am!
