Well, I had the opportunity a few weeks ago to pick up an 88 SPG down in Florida. This guy saw Jeff P's car in European Car and decided to give Jeff a call. He said he had done a lot of things just like Jeff's and was ready to sell it to make way for another project car.

So we got the info and some pics, I got the money together 2 weeks ago and flew down to pick it up. Then I drove it home, a 1600 mile journey. The car is incredible, top of the list there is no rust or rot anywhere on the car. (Bonus)

The list of mods is as follows.

Swedish Dynamics Red series Head (port & polished)

SD Red Series Cams

Crane Hi-6 Ignition system

ERL step 1 Water injection

T3-T4 Hybrid Turbo? (BIG, VERY BIG) People at SOC believe it came
off of a John Deere Tractor or a Scania Truck.

Custom Spearco FMIC with custom bent aluminum I.C. plumbing from South Miami Performance. (Very Nice)

Greedy Type R Blow Off Valve

3" Mandrel Bent exhaust with HKS externally mounted wastegate on enlarged downpipe elbow.

Upgraded Fuel pump from Porsche 930 Turbo

24 lb injectors with adjustable FPR

Stage 3 APC from SPG 9

SD Aluminum Flywheel, Kevlar Disc.


So this car will be on the road in the next few weeks, I'll be sad to let my other SPG go but I don't have the funds to keep both of them. :(

However this car is a monster, it is made for the highway or the track.
It goes like stink and just keeps pulling the higher the revs go. So we'll see, hopefully I'll get it up to the registry and inspection station soon.
