I agree that they are very much similar. I would, however, not say that it really gives 309 hp. On the SQR website there's dyno results showing 306 hp something. But those are "dynamic" results, i.e not comparable to "static" results used by Saab and other manufacturers when they measure hp. Hirsch for instance use static dyno testing, so 310 Hirsch-hp is directly comparable to 230 Saab-hp and so on. MapTun also use static dyno testing at the Swedish company Trollspeed.
I prefer to be on the safe side, so for your specific software I would claim 270+ hp (since I know it has been dyno tested to 270 hp...). Personally I quote my car as 290 hp, even though 1,2 bar (17 PSI) @ 6000 rpm should equate to more than 290...
