TD04-15T to c900 -> port matching?

Quick Q:

If I were to get me a Mitsu TD04HL15T-6cm from a 9K Aero and redrill the bolt holes on my c900 exhaust manifold, what about the port dimensions of the 9K turbine housing itself? I would assume that it, being of the 'small' (T25) flange type, would have a smaller port than the manifold, and leaving a big 'step' in there would not good to exhaust flow!

So if I am right - would there be anything against removing the turbine housing of the TD04 and attacking it with the Dremel tool in order to make the port match the exhasut manifold? Or would a TD04 with 7 cm turbine inlet be a match for the T3 manifold in this respect (The TD04-15T 5 cm is the small round opening to match T25 manifolds, right?)?
