Hi !
Since I was not there, I can only guess.
As you know, the DI cassette use the sparkplugs to detekt knocking.
In other words the plug is being used as a sensor.
IF you replace the sensor, with another kind of sensor, you will get a different reading.
Thats why Trionic will have to adapt the ion signal (knock).
You did'nt give Trionic the chance to adapt, so there is a possibility that the "knock signal" was weaker with the "other brand 0.90 mm" plugs.
And that's why the engine produced more power.
I've seen it happen before.
