I was looking around last night and saw "The Beast" in the SAAB9000.com gallery. Nice! Looking through the Procedures pages I noticed that same model year cars operated in the UK have a lot more corrosion than mine. Looks like you deal with a lot more water than we do in Texas. However, I only see another 9000 about every 6 months which also means that good SAAB mechanics are rare.
I have read in several places where valves and restrictions are being used to improve performance. The best information I found was on the Swedish Dynamics page (link below) where they sell boost valves. For the late 9k they recommend using two: one on the MAP to control boost cutoff and one between the BPC and the wastegate to delay opening the wastegate. They have pictures of the installation (one on link page below and the other on K&N intake page.)
