I did a good bit of research on the Parada Spec 2's before I bought them. Apparently, they put down the most tread over any of its competitors, the closer you can get to slicks the better, ha. Reviews in Car&Driver, Road&Track, European Car, all praise these tires. I haven't seen anything but a great review on them, no matter where I look. Around tight corners they simply don't let go. Trust me, I've tried. In an empty parking lot, I'll gun it, and make a 90 degree turn, they just hold and hold. Yokohama must have put super glue on the treads. In the rain, they are still exceptional. I had 16x7" ENKEI RS-5 wheels and Nitto 450's on my 89 900S, and they were TERRIBLE in the rain. Apparently, Yokohama had problems with the Parada Spec 1's in the rain, but the redesigned them completely just to fix that problem, and they sure did. In my humble opinion, these are the best tires you can buy for the money, only around $100 each! They are a serious performance tire, and can be used year round, unless you live way up north.
Good luck!
