question about APC solenoid mod...

a while back i was reading about the modification to the restriction in the middle port of the solenoid valve (87 SPG) to gain a couple extra lbs. and a bit quicker spool up. i couldn't find the right brass windsheil nozzle to use, so i had to improvise. i had some old APC pressure trnasducers around, so i cut the nipple-like thing off that and replaced the restrictor in the solenoid valve with it. just out of curiosity, does anyone know if that restriction is too small? i out it on my old SPG, and the boost would jump way up to 20 lbs., but that car had some weird APC issues, and maybe the solenoid reacted adversly with that particular APC? question is: is the opening on the nipple of a pressure transducer too small for the mod tht i'm talking about? thanks if anyone knows the answer off hand.
