I couldn't get your link to work, but I went to the GReddy site instead (link below). From their suggested pricing, it would be a bit closer to US$600 with all options, but whatever.
I see that you can control injector duty cycle at only five points, and then only by about 20%. By comparison, my SDS has RPM fuel related points every 250 RPM from 500 to 9750. And I dunno if 20% would be enough variation: if I run the SDS in closed loop mode, it will vary the fuel mixture by 20-25% only as well. And using the SDS' closed loop is pretty much only for idle or cruising. I think you would want more variation for hi-po performance. There is also the issue of the larger injectors that would be required for good performance gains and your corresponding decreased in idle economy. If the E-Manage doesn't let you play with the injectors at idle, then you could be stuck with the poor economy there. There are also restriction issues with keeping the standard AMM too. Also, while being able to control extra injectors is cool, the added complexity of engineering more injectors could be more of a pain than the effort is worth. By the time you've done all that, you could have wired in a stand alone and paid just a bit more.
And ignition, I don't think that their optional ignition software would work on an LH car.
I think Kevin K and Kooch could offer more opinions too, and confirm or refute what I just said.
