Assuming that the APC has been functionally disabled by my MBC -
Does it advance the ignition timing? My car has no overboost cutoff, but I have noticed that the engine doesn't seem to know what to do with much more than 15-17 psi anyway (this may also be a function of my current stock exhaust setup). After getting the 3" exhaust, I feel like the LH chip would increase the safety margin by preventing a lean condition above 15 psi. I assumed that it would't really increase the power much unless the ignition was tuned as well. I just thought that if I was going to buy one chip before the other, then it might be safer to get the fuel chip first.
I'm looking for general input, and my target is basically 18psi SAFELY.
Thanks in advance!
