Read my post a little lower down this BB and you'll see where I got mine (from Dave). It works great, nice upgrade. The idea with shortening the rode is that it'l alow a higher MAX BOOST and will somewhat increase the spool up time. Hitting the fuel cut-off is well, kinda something I'd be looking forward to because at least if you know it's specs, you'll have a pretty good idea of how much boost you are making. However even better would be a aftermarket boost gauge like VDO or such for about $30. You don't really HAVE to adjust it inorder to make those changes noticable but, it's a good ides to at least check you base boost so you'd know how low/high it is and if you find that it's below specs, then yes an adjustment will be needed to get it back to spec. Shortening or lengthening it will put it where it needs to be to ensure that the changes you've made aren't woiring against youbut in your favor. So, check base boost and adjust as needed.
See Ya,
Phil
