Good day all you Saab freaks. My name is Lucas and I am a sales consultant for New Salem Saab in Albany NY. For thrills I enjoy racing my turbo charge 900 and 9000. My favorite club is AMEC. (Adirondac Motor Enthusiast Club) WWW.ICERACE.COM This past Saturday over 100 competitors competed in all different classes at Warners Lake just 15 min south of Albany in the heart of the Heldeburgs.(25 Saabs) From scatch built 2.3 9000 subframed screemers to street legal 8 valves there is a class for all. This weekend we expect a larger turn out than last. On Saturday they will be holding a street legal event starting at 9 am. This event is just like an Autocross on the ice. Although it is not wheel to wheel competeition there will be plenty of thrills and track time. Check out the web site for more information. Saturday will be a full class event starting off around 11 am. People from as far as Austrailia come out and play with us this past weekend so we hope to see some new faces. There is a nice resturant called Sholtz Hofbrow right on the lake with a large dinning room for all the spectators. YOU GOTTA SEE THIS!!!!!
