I have 2003 Saab 9-5 2.3T Aero. manual tranny, and I have about 5K USD to spend on performance parts, and I am considering these two companies:
abbott racing & Map Tun performance.
I want to ask you guys what do you think of them?
do you think the HP they are saying I would gain from the parts is correct?
because abbott racing shows a very high HP gain when campared to the same parts that Map Tun have,
for example: a 3" Exhaust system and a High flow air filter from Maptun only 5HP
the same parts from abbott racing at least 20 HP
Map Tun stage 5 = 350HP
Maptun software, 3" Exhaust system
J/R High flow air filter
Race catalyst
Turbocharger 18T
Aluminum Intercooler
Injectors, Sport clutch
Larger intake pipe
Camshafts, Pistons
some of stage 5 parts but from abott racing (note: it's half stage 5 parts and a smaller turbo) = +140 = 390HP
software, 3" Exhaust system
High flow air filter
Race catalyst
Turbocharger
Larger intake pipe
Final question do you think my car can handle 400+ HP?
what I am thinking of now that I take some parts from abott racing and some from map tun performance. (only because map tun has parts that abott racing hasn't :)
Thanks and Regards,
