The MBC should not hurt your car unless you disconnect the fuel cut off switch. This switch limits your boost to ~15 PSI. Installation is easy and the results are well worth the money.
Lowering springs: Yes they will reduce body roll but they will also make the ride harsher. I hope you have smoooooth roads! I installed a SAS rear sway bar and got good results... much better handling with little impact on ride quality. For ~$140 you might try that first.
