Offset issues - 42mm on the wheels means Speedparts 8mm spacers to bring it to 34mm. But Kevin Yankton's site says the 8s are actually closer to 7.5mm, but whatever, close enough. 17x7s for sure, whichever wheel I end up going with. The suspension is all done - shortwheelbase rear axle mod, and IIRC 1.5-2.0 degrees negative camber up front.

From what you've said, 215 sounds right - but any idea on 45s or 40s? Seems that 40s would be the best bet - slightly smaller than stock 195/60/15. 215/45/17 would be .4" larger in diameter. 205/50/16 seems ideal, as does 205/45/17, but I really want 215s. Slightly smaller rather than slightly larger? But then Brad was saying he could cram 205/55/16s underneath a lowered car, and 215/45/17s are slightly smaller in diameter than those. Yeesh, dunno what to do! 225s would be nice, but I hear you about tramlining. If the road's really wobbly, I get pretty viscious tramlining as it is with 205/45/16s.

Another interesting tidbit - we now have a local Centerline distributor. The RPM and Excel are kind of costly, but the brand new Impulse is on par, pricewise, with the OZs. I'm waiting to hear back about the Impulse's weight and colour availability. It's a nice 5-spoke, but I don't dig chrome or completely polished wheels, so we'll see how it goes. I'm betting it's at least 15lbs, but maybe less. Favourable comparison with the OZ Crono.
