I appreciate everyone’s input. As a newer poster I really expected more criticism, challenges, etc. As I expected I should look into making the intake larger. My plan is to use a 1.5”-2” Ram Air like setup in the space next to the passenger fog light and Y-tap that into a 3” pipe sitting idle behind the fender? Any comments? If I pursue I will be sure to post results.

When this project is finished I am hoping to see a reliable 230 WHP, does this sound reasonable? My Dyno with stock power read 172-177 WHP.

FYI Damien: “From your mod list, your car is plenty fast right now” EXPLAIN - As I have not yet tweaked power and have only added weight, how’s that fast, I thought this was a performance board, WHERE AM I?
Yes, I am still running stock suspension but for my purpose that works fine. I might upgrade to Konis but do not plan on changes springs as my Saab with 16” Blizak tires still has to get me to work during the huge snow storms. Your “jab” sounds reasonable but perhaps I should bring my 91 Accord to give you a chance (at your home track no less). All in good fun. I certainly understand driver input is the most important constraint in this equation. Keep in mind not everyone with the cash to spare for these mods is some rich prick that has no idea what they are doing. Some of us studied turbo engineering in Lulea Sweden and earned a degree or two to substantiate their claim, and might have even seen a rally course or two being only 90 Km south of the Arctic Circle.

With that said I think I should point out to all the skeptics out there I bought the car about 19 months ago with a Certified Pre-Owned warranty and aftermarket warranty after tax for $16,800. I have put another $4,200 into the car. That’s $21,000 total, not a bad deal for a car that will loose most everything else on the road as we pedal over a 11,000-ft. mountain pass.

Stay safe and keep Saab'n
