Which Forge model do you have? Unlike Dean's Turbo-XS, my 007P already has a counter-sunk top (just like the Bosch valve) so no additional filler is required or recommended.
If you stick something in there, make sure it doesn't interfere with the piston's travel by being too fat or too long . You also need to make sure it won't become detached & jam the spring, piston or vacuum hose, or that small fragments won't get sucked directly into the TB via the vacuum hose. The safest thing would be a machined aluminum piece which gets bolted directly to the cap.
As for the elastomer pieces, if you decide to use'em, make sure they don't swell up (or otherwise deform) in the heat of the engine & hot boost gasses. That would be bad ...
